Highly demanded in the Paraguayan market, the cassava is cultivated by the vast majority of rural households. Its industrialization provides businesses opportunities for all.
The economic groth program of USAID/Paraguay Sell has published this study, intended to provide an analysis of production and processing of cassava.
Cassava is a major source of carbohydrates and eaten by a large portion of the population. Its roots, either fresh or dried, are used in human and animal food. Cassava provides an important agro-industrial potential and possibilities for growth in exports.
