International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction (ISDR) and the Organization of American States (OAS) have issued a call for the identification and systematization of relevant experiences on DRR in the Americas, including themes related to climate change adaptation.
The call seeks the presentation of experiences in the following themes:
- Public policies for DRR at the local, national, and regional levels.
- Public investment and financial tools for DRR.
- Urban contexts and DRR.
UNISDR and OAS had originally set a deadline of Friday, August 17, but have now extended the deadline to Friday, August 31, for those interested in nominating their experiences. Results of the pre-selection will be announced on September 14.
